FAQ

Questions people ask us

Is there really a free plan?

Yes. The free plan gives you up to 60 bookings a month, your own booking page and email notifications. It shows a small "Powered by" line on the booking page. There are no per cover fees and no card needed to start.

What is the difference between instant, staff approved and live check?

Instant confirms a booking straight away if a table is free. Staff approved holds it as a request until someone on your team accepts it. Live check is the middle ground: the customer waits a few minutes while your staff get a phone alert and tap accept or decline. If nobody answers in time you choose what happens next.

Do I need a website?

No. Every venue gets a booking page at its own link that you can share on social media, Google and your menus. If you do have a website, you can embed the booking page with one line of code.

Do you charge per cover or per booking?

No. We think per cover fees punish busy venues. You pay a flat yearly price, or nothing on the free plan.

How do staff get notified?

By email on every plan. On Standard and above you also get push notifications to the staff app on any phone, which you can install to your home screen like a normal app.

Can I take bookings by phone and add walk ins?

Yes. Staff can add bookings from the dashboard or the staff app in a few taps, and they use the same table availability as online bookings.

What about spam and fake bookings?

We rate limit bookings, use a hidden honeypot field, support Cloudflare Turnstile, and limit how many bookings one phone number or email can make in a day.

How does billing work?

Paid plans are monthly (cancel any time) or yearly at a lower price, paid through PayPal. They renew automatically; cancel the renewal from your dashboard if you do not want to continue and you will drop back to the free plan with your data intact.

Who is behind this?

Nabsie is built and run by kalchevo.com, a UK web hosting company. Kalchevo hosting customers get the Standard features included.
